I just realized that my earlier comment about more C++ filename extensions got
garbled by JIRA formatting. Just to make sure I"m clear, here it is again
without formatting:

I have come across some other file extensions for C++ code: .C, .c++, .H, .hxx,
.hpp, .h++.
