It really only becomes a factor if the job needs to get aborted: timeout or a
user specifically tries to kill a job. It also appears to depend upon the OS.
OS X: no problems. Ubuntu: I haven't seen any problems, but from that Jenkins
JIRA, it appears that different revisions of Ubuntu work differently. Arch
Linux (running 4.20): yes, every time abort fails to signal test-patch child
processes.
