> Why do you need to add the version info? Is it part of the standard? The ECS schema it huge so you could add all kinds of data there, which would then be filterable in Splunk or what you use. We by no means need to add the version, unless you want to filter all log lines from ZK v3.8.1, but that seems like a rare requirement.
