I'm sorry but I have to agree with Robyn's comments below. I myself would have been disgusted if he kissed up to the American Idol silliness. As far as I'm concerned it's a useless show for people with no real musical taste- no offense to anyone on this list who enjoys it. I'm glad he took an opportunity to make an appearance for the "masses" but that's about it. I wouldn't have even known he was on except a friend who watches called me to turn it on. And even then, I barely paid attention, I just kept talking to my friend and saying "I can't believe he's on this show". She- as an American Idol fan- informed me there was talk all season about getting him to host a week and interact with the contestants but "scheduling conflicts" didn't allow. All the while I kept thinking, "Thank God he didn't stoop that low to spend a week on this dumb show"!!!!! Again, sorry to any AI fans on this list, but I just feel that show is testament to all that's been lost in the music industry over the last 10 years. just my opinion:)
