Is Prince putting it together, though? What if Rio just buys a bunch of tickets to one of his shows to invite and comp a bunch of high rollers? Or maybe it was part of the deal - that he would play a show to Rio VIPs? (Promotion.) It logically seems more like a casino thing than something Prince would concoct on his own.
Also, I'm with the folks who think Prince's Vegas shows days are numbered. Amil <Moderator: Not sure I would love to know more details about Prince dealings in Vegas. The Rio owns 3121 and the Restaurants. They hired him to do a job there for x amount of time. History shows Prince is not a team player and works against the many even it its going to benefit him. -Derek> > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: Derek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Jan 11, 2007 6:24 AM > Subject: RE: NPNY: RE: [thebumpsquad] Private Prince Vegas show 4 > those who > To: [email protected], [email protected] > > Unless he was screening new material for an album for record > executives or > doing a charity show when have you heard of Prince doing this type > of event? > > Honestly, the whole Vegas thing strikes me as odd.
