I don't know if that's true. If you listen to the radio (which sadly I do periodically), the same songs are played over and over and over again. Not ONE of them that I hated did I grow to like. Accustomed to, maybe, but like, let alone appreciate? No. For example, anything at all by AKON. :) Even some of Prince's music has never grown into anything I enjoy. Rainbow Children in its entirety, "Jughead", You Got the Look......to name a few.
But sometimes, a new listen, a new time in your life, a new mood....that can change everything about how you hear something. Or read something. There have been books I could NOT get through.
