Belinda, you are so right. That is what I think is at the core of the
dissatisfaction Prince fans feel when something official is released.
We have seen way to much that we weren't supposed to see.
During the "Gold Experience" days, we did know the words to all those
songs because all you had to do was go down to the Village and buy
more than a dozen different boots
of his live performances. I think we would be happier as a group if we
just waited for the official releases, but on the whole, Prince fans
are so greedy. We want it all, and we want it NOW!

RD, how is Prince supposed to know that we've already seen it if he
never
released it for us to see? I'm sure that Prince can tell by my
screen name,
which I've had since the beginning of his Internet rave, that I've
seen and
heard some stuff he probably feels I should not have seen or heard.
And I'm
surprised he didn't kick me in my teeth when I started singing the
opening
verse of "The Ryde" before he got the chance to open his mouth. I was
leaning on the stage looking up into those beautiful eyes, smiling and
singing with all my might. But I wasn't the only one singing it. But I
noticed that he was pissed off. He turned his back. I think we were
just so
excited to see him that we forgot the song had not been released
yet. We
started without him, probably because of the free drinks they served
for the
VIP ticket holders. I know I had one too many. LOL! This was at the
Palladium Beautiful Experience show back in the 90's. He's probably
just
sharing stuff he knows he has not released. Not thinking about
whether we've
jacked his stash or not. Not everybody has had the opportunity to do
that.
And Prince has made every effort possible to keep us from doing it.
