Deanne Unruh and I are coordinating a session for the September 20 “Making the Connection: Indicators 1, 2, 13 and 14” Forum in Denver. We are looking for one state willing to share (20 minutes) your experiences in collecting, or considering collection, of data across these four indicators. We don’t expect states to have all the answers but we’d like to hear about the following:
- What does your state do, (or plan to do) to coordinate collection across the 4 indicators (any combination)?
- Who’s responsible for designing data collection instruments for each indicator; are they the same or different individuals or groups? Do they work as a team?
- What do you see as the opportunities and challenges to coordinating data collection?
This session will focus only on data collection; other sessions will focus on data reporting and use.
