So I would need to launch the device IDE, load the TXT file and then run it
from there?

Hmmm. . . . So simple and I had never done this before. I have transferred
the TXT file to the device before and double clicked on the TXT file but the
file failed to run. I would always make sure I had saved the TXT file on the
desktop as a NSB before transferring and running on the device.

You can load a .txt file into the device IDE and run it from there. You
cannot run the txt file on the device directly.
