Hi Jim

You seem to be a using a really convoluted system here. I also use a Vista
machine for NSB development but in a much simpler fashion.

1. Install the Standalone Emulator (Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Images
(USA).msi)

2. Start the Emulator and configure the Shared Drive to be the folder on the
PC that contains the NSB file for your program.

3. Install a copy of your program on the Emulator (or just the NSBasic
runtime if you are just starting) by putting the CAB file into that same shared
folder and running it.

4. Then run the NSB file from within File Explorer on the Emulator.

This way, you don't need Active Sync, DMA ports, an actual device, or get
involved in Device Manager. Much easier and faster.

Make sense ?
