We looked hard at doing a version for non touchscreen devices about 2 years ago. At the time, Microsoft seemed to be touting the future of smartphones as non touchscreen devices.
Then came the iPhone. The flagship devices from all major manufacturers are now touch screen devices. Even Blackberry and Nokia have rushed touchscreen devices to the market and are doing well with them. The new Palm Pre and Google's Android devices are also touchscreen. Windows Mobile 6.5's new features are all touchscreen oriented. Our feeling is that touchscreen devices will continue to take significant market share from non touchscreen, and the non touchscreen is a dead end. We decided it would be better to concentrate our resources on where the market was going. >I've been using NSBasic/CE for several years now.
