The program did had code. It was the same one I just had open. If I know how I'd send the program file. All those steps were just in normally working. I always get rid of the properties stuff to do the coding when the form is done.
Here's a more simple approach. Start the IDE Click cancel on the 1st box Click the open folder and load a program Kill the project explorer by clicking the red x in the upper right Kill the properties list box same way Click the save diskette icon Click the load folder icon Select the same/or different program I get a blank screen with no form displayed. Are you sure you opened a program file that actually has a form (one created in the IDE, not in code)? Otherwise this could happen; with the programs I opened I got a form displayed, but no code. So if the program you open only has code, it is possible that you have no window. But you should then be able to activate the project explorer using the "view" menu and then to open the code window. I must say, you really had to go through a lot of unusual steps to provoke this "error" if you want to call it that!
