For those interested, my G reed was made by Adrian Schofield, once described by a prominent piper/pipemaker as: " probably the best reed-maker on the planet." Before you beat a path to his door, he's given up making them now but if anyone is familiar with Archie Dagg's style of reedmaking, then that's as close as you'll get to Adrian's - or so I've been told. I can't profess to being a reed-making expert, having never attempted such a feat for fear of losing a finger or two. The solo was It's a Dog's Life, by the great Chris O and a special request for Bentley, the Say's new wolfhound-cross-donkey. No doubt he'll soon have his own tune, if Julia has anything to do with it! Maureen To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
