Dear friends and fellow pipers,

We wish to let you know about two important changes to the Pipers'
Gathering in 2008: the date and the venue.

Next year, the Pipers' Gathering will be held on the first weekend in
August (August 1 through 4 - Friday through Monday). Please make a note
in your diaries, on your calendars, in your blackberries, on the back of
your hand, shirt sleeve, pipe case, in fact anywhere that will help you
remember to be in Killington, Vermont on that weekend. Don't miss one of
the best piping events of the year just because you forgot that the date
has changed!

The venue: We will still be meeting at the Killington Grand Hotel but all
our activities will take place in a separate building, the Snowshed Lodge,
at the far side of the lake to the rear of the hotel. This means that we
will be entirely separate from other hotel guests as far as workshops,
symposiums, sessions and concerts are concerned. In other words, there
will be more space to "do our own thing." Sleeping accomodation
arrangements are unchanged and rooms should be booked in the usual manner,
by calling the central reservation number - details in due course.

2008 is going to be a great year for the Pipers' Gathering. Make plans
now to be with us next August.

We are all looking forward to seeing you.
