If you can't get them, write and ask for permission to scan them and record
the tapes on a PC and burn them on the CD. ( I take it they are reel-reel
tapes as (nearly) every music system has a facility to play cassette tapes).
Linking either to a PC to record is only a case of a wire with a jack plug
at each end anyway, isn't it?.

I'm sure they would let you do this (maybe for a small fee).
I'm not sure who has the copyright though.
You could certainly do this for yourself. I think, without breaching
copyright (for own use) but passing them on to others would need permission.
Nice to see someone actually trying to do the right thing.
