Greetings all,

I am posting on the list at the suggestion of John Liestman.

I have a set of NSP made for me by David Quinn in 1980. The set is
made of African Blackwood and has a 7 keyed, G chanter. The keys are of
brass. Photos are available and can be had simply be emailing me,
subject "NSP photos". There are extra drone and chanter reeds, all made
   by David.

The set is in like new condition. Except for a few months
attempting to learn to play them 30 years ago, they have been properly
stored ever since. (Why I never learned to play them, or am not going
to do so now, is a story better left untold, as it would break your
heart) Further, the pipes have just returned from David's shop where
they received new key pads, a new chanter reed, and a good going over
to be sure they were in top condition.

David, who admitted that he was rusty at playing the
NSP, graciously obliged me by playing a couple of tunes on the pipes
and they, and his verbal assessment of the pipes, can be heard by going
   to this link; [1]http://files.me.com/nakris/srwmxv

As David is primarily known for his Uilleann Pipes, I will be
listing these NSP on Chiff and Fipple, as well as the Bob Dunsire
forums. Any other suggestions from you folks at the NSP list would be
   greatly appreciated.

As for cost, it has been suggested that I simply state that serious
offers will be considered, until some idea of value comes into focus.

       Best regards,

       Michael
