Some time ago I had a go at this too, before I saw the Crawhall set.
   I'll look it up.

     and I think in bar 2 of the last line, currently:

   > e|dcB dcB|dGB c2e|d/c/B/A/B/G/ B>cd|dgf d2||

     should possibly be:
     dgB c2e|
     To me it looks as if strains 3 & 4 could be reversed (look at bar 4
     in each strain)
     to maintain an AB pattern, and of course there is a "missing" B
     strain at the end.
     Given the superficial similarity to bits of Newmarket Races it would
     be tempting to
     make a 6th part:
     e/f/|g/f/e/f/g/e/ d/c/B/c/d/B/|g/f/e/f/g/e/ c2 e|\
     g/f/e/f/g/e/ d/c/B/c/d/B/|dgf d2 e/f/|\
     g/f/e/f/g/e/ d/c/B/c/d/B/|g/f/e/f/g/e/ c2 e|\

   d/c/B/A/B/G/ B>cd|dgf d2||

     although I haven't tried this (yet).
     In haste
