Hi Anthony,

   I did some checking:
All Mac browsers worked OK for me (Safari/Firefox/Chrome) but I have
Flip4Mac installed (free) which allows Quicktime to play windows media
files (in fact the page required me to upgrade to the latest version).
I can recommend it to avoid these problems for all Mac users (install
   the free version only):

   Windows7:
IE played OK with a windows media player but only after clicking on
IE's nasty little warning bar a couple of times (allowing Active-X
   component to run)
Firefox didn't run, said a plugin needed to be installed, this turned
out to be QuickTime but following the link didn't successfully install
Quicktime. I imagine it would work if I installed quicktime manually.
Chrome didn't show up a player at all.
Might I suggest your web guy uses a different way to add sound files to
your site. Here's a demo we set up for some recent web customers of
ours (my wife is a web designer). This is using a freeware audio
player from Yahoo written mainly in javascript which takes about 5
minutes to install in a web page and works on all browsers above (but
   not iPad/iPhone):
   Here's the demo:

apologies for the amateur pipe playing on the first two)
   Here's the media player link:

Contact me off list if you need help with this.

     Ditto to what Sheila said.
I just tried it on a Mac with Safari.
Also tried it on Windoze with IE.
Glad to continue with Firefox or anything else any time you ask,
     Anthony.

   combination.
