If you enter the remote destination ftp://user:p...@ftp.google.com, it
will complain that there's no slash at the end:

    Failed : Error matching the schema 'ftp://user:p...@server/anything'
with 'ftp://user:p...@ftp.google.com' (The '/' after server is
mandatory)

This slash should just be added automatically.  Better yet, there should
be a graphical file browser that lets you select remote destinations and
it will format the URL perfectly for you.
