I tested tar with: tar cvzf prueba.tar.gz prueba_backup/ --exclude='prueba_backup/Público'
And using exclude.list from nssbackup: tar cvzf prueba.tar.gz prueba_backup/ --exclude-file='/home/user/exclude.list' and tar excludes the folder "Público" in both cases, without problems. ** Description changed: NSSBachpup 0.2 RC7 + In Ubuntu 8.04 and 9.04 I have in "exclude" this folder: /home/user/Música but NSSBackup includes the folder in the backup in the end. I can see the folder in the file "excludes.list" but it appers in the tar file, with all contents. -- NSSBackup doesn't exclude folders with special characters https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of NSsbackup team, which is subscribed to NSsbackup. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
