Public bug reported:
configuration files seem to be missing; I'm not sure why. (Maybe I've
got a backup?) Simple configuration created a new profile, but when I
set a destination, it refused with the above unintelligible-to-me
message.

nothing in /var/crash.
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, Ubuntu 13.04
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or
by checking in Software Center
curious -- Software Centre asks if I want to install it. ?????
3) What you expected to happen
create a new profile
4) What happened instead
displayed above message; please restart and try again. Which I did, and the
problem repeated.
