I'm sure there'll be another Fantasy League for NSWolves. Where's Mark W - he
usually sets it up.

I can't make Wednesday unfortunately.
Finals time in football now so Wednesday night training has become compulsory.
Could be around next month, depending on our results (Dunbar's,
not Wolves!).

Will let you know my tipping contest

I'm off the pop now. I've got an severely ulcerated
oesophagus. The Perth
trip was my final hurrah. Thirty pints and eight Maccas was a good send
off.

I've had no tips for the tipping contest from anyone
except Marcus. Does that mean there's no interest or are you waiting to
see who we bring in? It's only a week on Saturday now.

I think our spending is probably done now. It seems
clear that we started the business on the last day of the season and it just
took a few weeks for players come through. Then they came in a flurry.

I'd expect us to use our loan abilities though to bring in
a couple of good additions. I'm still hopeful we'll get Henry Mancini.

Milijas is getting good reviews,
which is pleasing me the most. Another defender, possibly someone that
can play centrally and at left back will give us a decent chance in my view.

Very quiet because not much has been
happening.

Pretty indifferent
spell of warm up games with no transfer activity has not given us a great deal
to discuss that wasn’t gone over in Perth.

Nicky Butt, no thanks!!
Too old and would probably cost too much in wages.

Don’t know about
this Rapid Vienna guy? Why buy him if Iwelumo is going to be fit in a month or
so? Anyone seen him play?

I can make this
Wednesday evening at the Pub, anyone else fancy going?

Its been very quiet on here since the Perth trip;

Normally the rumours on tribal football don't come of
anything but this appeared in the Daily Mail, a possible replacement for
Iwelumo? Tribal Football are also continuing to connect us with Nicky Butt.

McCarthy
has big ambition as Wolves boss targets 6ft 7in striker Maierhofer

Wolves are weighing up a bid for towering Rapid Vienna striker Stefan
Maierhofer.

The 6ft 7in hit man, just as tall as Peter Crouch, has an impressive
scoring record for Rapid since joining the club on loan in January last year.

His seven goals in 11 games persuaded Rapid to give him a three-year
deal and also earned the 26-year-old a first call-up for Austria.

Another 23 goals in 34 appearances last season brought him to the
attention of Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
