Well well well...I cannot believe we aren't all talking about that fantastic win. I got up extra early this morning (partly so I could follow the game) downloaded my emails and low and behold someone had posted a link to a live feed (did you get in time Rog?) The first half coverage was very good but it kept cutting out in the second half so I followed the game via sportinglife. I thought we looked very good in patches, Halford made a couple of mistakes and Milijas gave the ball away a couple of times but Wigan were unable to capitalize. Again Keogh was outstanding as were the Wolves fans behind the goal, I could not hear the Wigan fans at all. Karl Henry is a revelation, I thought he looked good in Perth but he's really adapting well, his simple no nonsense game is working a treat. Mancienne was much better than on Saturday and his speed gets us out of trouble and counter attacking very quickly. One thing I've noticed is our defenders quite often get turned inside out by the bouncing ball, time and time again I'm seeing opposition players getting the better of us after the ball has bounced...is this something that can be rectified in training or are they struggling to read the ball? A great performance which followed some promise against West Ham, the fact that we have so many players unavailable I feel quite confident that we may just be ok when / IF they all return from injury. Incidentally we had a 16 year old striker on the bench (Spray), does anyone know anything about him????????????????
