Arsenal are averaging 3.3 goals per game so we were only slightly worse than the average. There were periods of the game where we didn't look out of our depth (first 25 minutes) but as the commentators said throughout, when you're in the Premier League you HAVE to take your chances... we didn't and got punished by a very good side who I reckon have the ability and depth to challenge for the title this season. It was kind of a perverse sensation because at time I was enjoying watching them give us a lesson in one-touch football, very fast and very smooth.

Every game against a bottom half team is a 6 pointer as far as I'm concerned. A couple of back to backs and we'll quickly move up 4 or 5 spots. I'm still confident. Paul is right - we were very good in the first 25 mins against Arsenal, although we should have taken our chances. Oh for Berra to have scored and for us to have our tails up. No doubt it still may have ended up 4-1. We got stuck in though and had a good go, and I reckon there'll be a few sides on the end of some bigger thumpings in the season (hopefully not us in the return game). I like watching Arsenal though - they are silky smooth in their play, and it reminds me of how they were in 2003/2004. Van Persie looks to be the new Henri. I knew I'd used up all my luck with The Mariners winning on Saturday night. ________________________________ Subject: [NSWolves] weekend results Date: Mon, 9 Nov 2009 09:20:02 +1100 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] results really didn't go our way on the weekend and we're now in 19th position. Bolton, Birmingham and Blackburn all have a game in hand over us. Quick poll - yes or no answer. Do we have the quality to get ourselves out of the bottom 3 and stay up?
