Only in that he bought good players on high wages. I could do that. I
reckon I could motivate people more than Roy too. He claims he's the
"European Alex Fergusson". What a bunch of arse. If he was any good he'd
have stayed at one club and made them great rather than being a journeyman
around the small leagues of Europe.

Sandwell Town are going down, do dah, do dah.

Are you saying improved results are nothing to do with the manager???????

Nine points from his first thirteen games at Fulham, shipping eight goals in
the first four games. I doubt that would be enough points. West Brom
haven't conceded fewer than two in a game since last year.

Surely the improvement of Fulham's defence came from signing the likes of
Schwarzer and Hangeland?

Come on you miserable fuckers, get behind your club.

On the highlights show they said he'd improved Fulham's defence.

Only one clean sheet when he joined and then quite a few for the rest of the
season.

The next season they had the second best defence after Manure.

Bit too much to expect him to work a miracle on Albion's defence in a week
though.

But presumably he was trying really hard to win over the Liverpool fans and
the Fulham fans? I'm not sure what skill he'll be drawing on to make this
miraculous change to Albion as he's never demonstrated it before.

He's there to rebuild and bring them up again.

Why is it? Roy was rubbish when he started at Fulham, as he has been
rubbish at many other clubs. The Liverpool players have said he didn't
motivate so what is he going to do exactly when he can't buy players? He's
coming with a big cloud over his head.

But that might change.

Too late in the season - Baggies still going down.

So how does everyone feel about nice Woy Hodgson being appointed as the
Baggies manager?. I reckon he's a good bet to keep them up (unfortunately).
