I agree. I think Fletcher is capable of playing the lone striker role and that is exactly why we paid £7 million for him. Keep SEB fresh on the bench to come on as an impact player.

I can't see a second striker being more use that Milijas, and that's really who he'd have to replace Fletcher was bought as cover for Doyle and played that role for Burnley last season. It's his big chance. SEB can come on when necessary for Milijas or Hammill or as a fresh pair of legs for Fletcher. Even Ward might be an option. For us, the lon striker seems to be a decoy to allow our midfielders some space to attack, so as you say it needs someone with an engine.
