Short answer - I'll marry anyone (as long as they have 'reverend and serious
respect' for marriage in and of itself).

There are some 'hoops' to get through but none of the several hundred
couples I've married have ever complained.

They have to meet with me on two occasions - one for the legals and one for
my 'theology of marriage'.

I highly recommend that couples do either Anglicare's 'Growing Together' or
'Prepare'.

That's me. everyone's different. There has been a push in recent years to go
back to the 1961 constitution of the (then new) Anglican Church of Australia
and require one (or indeed both) to be baptised. I have resisted this
strongly because I believe that marriage is for everyone - not just
Christians. It is a gift from God for the wellbeing of humanity.

'Members of the flock' don't pay anything - part of the perks of being part
of the family but I think our fees are reasonable [I don't get anything :-(
because I get paid whether I take weddings, funerals, baptisms etc or not
:-)]

Does that answer the question? (check out the church website

I have a question I'm curious about. Do you let anyone marry in yout church
or do they have to be of the flock? I've heard that a lot of people never
go to church but then the woman wants a church wedding and they have to do
things to get in.

Are you going to the weddings as a guest or doing the service?

No way I'm coming if Bolshie Rog is there.

Stop trying to put people off attending.
Retirement? If only, organisations like FARC, Polisario, Hamas and Hezbollah
still need funding.

Hi all,

Drinks have been confirmed for Saturday 17th December @ The Australian Hotel
in The Rocks. First beer around 12'ish.

Roger Cooper will again be making the journey south from his retirement
haven to join us for a few beverages.

Bring your friends, family or anyone else who might want to discuss Wolves
and stuff.

See you there from 12pm

Cheers,
Marcus
