Be interesting if someone would take me up on my carton of beer bet as well?

We will beat Blues 2 - 0.

Be interesting to see what we're like against Brum in the Cup. That's an
evil draw.

The best passes going forward were two or three really classy through balls
from Zubar. He had a fine game.

Hunt - was he playing?

Jarvis, despite being down on confidence was clearly the 'go to' man. He
must have had more than 50% of our possession.

Was it Doyle who managed to put in a couple of brilliant crosses along the
ground that no one seemed to expect?

Hennessy should be shot for letting them score at the near post. Leaper
Crowe might have more to say about that.

Nearly redeemed himself with the softest penalty save I've seen in the top
flight - but 26 seconds later we were level :D

We looked like a 12th placed team playing a 15th placed team. Not quite
completely useless.

great turn-around and some justice against the cheating Seb Larrson. Also
highlights the difference between a genuine striker (Fletcher) versus
putting a player in a strikers shirt (Doyle). Their respective records tell
the tale. Fletcher 10 goals in 15 games, Doyle 1 in 12. Why does he
persist in playing Doyle up front.

Other comments:

Ward - some great positional play and tackles but passes were ordinary
today.

Jarvis seems to have lost some pace and also a bit of confidence but the
assist for Fletcher's first goal should give him a lift.

O'Hara i thought was very poor today. his marking was lax, his pass
completion rate was diabolical and he ran out of steam very early on.

Hunt was basically non-existent and deserved to be subbed.

Hammill when he came on looked right up for it and caused plenty of problems
for the rest of the match.

Zubar looked good going forwards and made some timely tackles at the back,
most of which he had to make after getting himself out of position.

Edwards didn't really stand out much, whereas I thought this would have been
the type of game that he would excel in.

Not a champagne performance but enough spirit to pull the result out of the
fire. Mick saved for another week.

You mean to tell me that he had no say in what went on yesterday? I don't
believe that for a minute.

Fancy making it interesting? A little wager?

Just goes to show that (a) changing the manager is not the answer and (b)
even changing to Martin O'Neill is not the answer.

Come on Rog - you know stats don't tell the real story.

Nice conversion from O'Hara - Jonny Wilkison would have been proud. L

managed.

Encouraging first half - really should be one up.

. Jarvis playing well - and crossing well.
