But Mick would be a better manager than Sir Alex if they started with similar teams and Mick spent 500m on players. I'd be willing to have the bet but I've always maintained that it's down to players and wages and not managers. I don't know how much MON will spend in January but it will be a wedge as he spent 170m with Villa and walked because of a lack of money.
The difference is I considered this and didn't formally enter into a bet, unlike the one you had with me where it was all formally agreed.
