You could just su to root and then you'd just HAVE access regardless of
permissions. Oh wait, you can't. Because Windows sucks!
Try using the Resource Kit's CACLS utility with the /T parameter to
grant Administrator permission on the top level and its subdirectories.
You could run this in an intelligent batch file as part of your weekly
maintenance or something.
I gave up on roaming profiles where I could, because are EXTREMELY slow,
and they have the annoying Creator/Owner permissions that Administrators
should by default be able to get into.

I noticed aswell that it's virtually impossible to easily "share" a
profile between a domain account and a local user account. You can't
use the profile configuration to change a profile's directory -- you
have to do it directly in the registry, and to do it, you have to change
at least 10 different paths in at least 5 separate areas. It's
ridiculous!
