I've posted an update to the script which makes it quite a bit faster on
networks that have a bunch of machines offline. Determining that a machine
is offline now takes only about 20 seconds, instead of a minute or more.
I could probably improve this further by using ping, but that would limit
the scripts to IP networks (right now, it is not protocol dependent).
Go to http://thecolonel2.tripod.com/audit.zip to download the updated file.
Extract, right-click on the script, and choose Edit. Read the script
comments at the top of the file for usage instructions.
