I am the DBA here and it seems to me if I had as much trouble with my migration's from 6.5 to 7 to 2000 on sqlserver that they are having with active directory, I would be in allot of trouble.. Maybe one of you guys would like a contract job to get this done as the entire company comes to a halt when they revert back to the NT4 domain structure from the failed Active Directory structure, especially the guy that did 53 of these. This company does most of its business through our ERP and sales system which is/was down. We just got the network back to the NT4 structure and everything is working again, the Lucent contractors are trying to figure what went wrong.

Obviously there have been thousands of installs of it already. I have done around 40 myself. How about stating what your problems are, which NOS you were coming from etc. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Sharpe, Richard Sent: October 1, 2001 10:33 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Active directory Just curious, has anyone out there been successful with active directory ? We tried in once and it failed and we had to revert back, this time we had Lucent here and it has failed again even with all the planning.
