Who put it there as in past tense or who puts it there tomorrow future
tense. Auditing can help you for the future, but you will need a 3rd party
to easily report on ownership which would give you past tense. Several out
there. We use DiskAdvisor from Quinn.

Subject: Auditing

Hi all,
I have a share on the network that has become a dumping ground. I would like
to be able to tell which user placed a file or folder in their. Is this
auditing? How can I do this? Thanks in advance.

John
