Yeah, I've been using it for years. It's pretty nice. I use it to clip web pages that I want to be able to access when I'm not at home.
Included in my list are: Movie schedules for the local theatres Weather page My Auction status (when I'm selling on ebay) The local football team schedule (so when they change the time or televised channel, I can refer to the official source from anywhere) Avantgo is a little slow on my Palm Vx, but I can live with it. One nice thing is you can add a button to your links list that will add the current site to your palm list automatically. One bad thing is that the info is processed by a central server, hence you can't access an internal only company intranet site. Let me know if you have any other questions. --Andrew Duey, MCSE -----Original Message----- From: John Martinez [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2001 5:05 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Palm App Has anyone tried out AvantGo Palm software? It's supposed to download offline news content etc. for a Palm Pilot. I've got some exec's asking questions. Here is a link in case you are interested as well. https://avantgo.com/frontdoor/index.html John ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
