Ok, I've out that by going to an mmc and adding group policy on local
machine, user configuration, windows settings, internet explorer maintenance,
browser user interface, browser title.

That did it.

Thanks to all for your help,

Alban

We normally set it to the company name using IE Administrative Kit, which is
used to make IE installation package. However, we never tried changing this
after IE installation.

Subject: internet explorer

I've installed IE6, now the ewplrer window has, at the top in the blue part,
a text that says "Microsoft Internet Explorer PROVIDED BY XXXX"
How do I get rid of this text?

Thanks,

Alban
