Crystal reports is the only application that uses the printer, but I
can't seem to find out how it could be changing the default printer. Any
ideas?

Do they use Printer2 in conjunction with any specific applications? Our
Accounting/Sales/Purchansing application will frequently change the
default printer on our users. We just live with it and the users are use
to checking before they send their print jobs.

Subject: Crazy Win 2k Default Printer

I am having problems with some of my users' default printers. Printer1
is the printer that was setup on their machines as the default printer
and printer2 is an additional printer they are all using. At random
times the default printer will change from Printer1 to Printer2. When we
go into the system and change the default back everything is ok for a
while. Later the default printer jumps back to printer2. Each user has
approximately 5 printers installed on their machines, and the changing
of the default printer is consistently to printer2, but there is no
consistent reason for this happening. Does anyone have any ideas what
could be causing this, and a possible solution? Thanks!
