My company uses a commercial software product that employs a parallel
security dongle, we use this product in three PCs running windows NT
4.0, the problem is that we are upgrading to Windows 2000 and the
security dongle does not work with windows 2000, I have contacted the
software vendor and they do not have any plans to release a 2000 driver
for this security dongle. I read somewhere that there might be a way to
hack the registry in windows 2000 and disable media sense and this will
allow us to install the software.

Any advice is appreciated.
