Good suggestion, but I already tried that. Thanks, BG -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Alexander Kha Do Sent: Friday, September 28, 2001 13:01 To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: WIN2K NETWORK QUESTION
Check your frame type settings on the IPX protocol. We have issues on our network where none of the Novell servers can be seen if the frame type is set to Auto Detect. We use Ethernet 802.3. -----Original Message----- From: Byron Gardner [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, September 28, 2001 9:59 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: WIN2K NETWORK QUESTION Problem: Double click Network Neighborhood and can see some of my NT servers but not all cannot see any of my Netware servers. I am plugged directly into the switch. My NIC is set for 100 MB Full Duplex the switch port is also set to 100 MB Full Duplex. If I unplug the client and plug into the HUB I can see all the servers NT and NETWARE. Of course that is after I change the card back to Auto Detect. I have tried changing the card to Auto Detect and the port but still nothing. Any ideas?
