Never mind I am a dumb ass. I just read the string. Thought this was a new
posting. My bad. Why not use AD though?

Is the 2K server going to be a stand alone server? If it is going to be a
DC, then you will need Active Directory. Is your current NT 4 server a PDC
or BDC?
If you have an NT 4 PDC right now, then you will have to bring the 2K server
in as a DC in order to get the user account information. This is tough to
answer without knowing how the config is.

ok, maybee I described this problem the wrong way (poor english) ;)

i have two different servers, a really old NT4 server and a new W2K
Server. I dont want to upgrade the old server, i just want to "copy"
the accounts on to the new one

Hi all,

Anyone know if its possible to move users from a standalone NT4 Server
to a W2K standalone server with all the users preferences, password,
description etc?? Any suggestions on tools that might be able to perform
this?

/eric
