Perhaps the computer has not yet joined the domain. OR perhaps it has and the domain admins group was not added to the local admins group for some freak reason.
You could make sure or re-add the domain admins to the local admin group on that PC .. Or logon as the local admin. -----Original Message----- From: Cummings, Marvin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2001 5:43 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Access Issue Can someone help me out with a little problem that has turned into a nightmare? For some reason I'm unable to install a particular application either from a network share or via my local system. I'm a Domain Admin with all of the necessary rights that would or should allow me to install this app. Whenever I attempt to install this app, I get the following error: You must have administrator privilages on this computer to install this program. Please contact your system administrator. I AM THE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR!!!! Any assistance is appreciated. Oh BTW This is a W2K Pro box w/SP2 in a W2K AD environment. ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
