Yes, I found that out. Currently they are starting the dial in
after logon to the local machine.. I have gotten the login scripts
to run if I use the dial-up checkbox when first logging in.. These
guys are about as tech savy as a mule and I really can't change thier
procedures easily.. How about RAS on win2k.. We are running it now
on NT 4 and there aren't a whole lot of options.. I could settle for
something that just calls a batch script when users dial in.. Can
that be done.. Is it a win2k RAS policy thing, or am I just sol..
Thanks for the help

How are they connecting during logon or after. To hit the domain you
need to
use the use dial-up checkbox on the initial logon box when Windows
starts.

Subject: Win2k Clients not running domain login script on RAS NT 4

Hello,

Sorry if this is a lame issue.. I am new to this list and already
searched the message archives.. My problem is this.. I have about 5
mobile users on win2k pro SP2. These clients make a RAS connection
to our
NT 4.0 Sp6a server. The clients need to run that users paticular
login
script once connecting.. This is my problem, they never run the
login
scripts. I have played with the client side options with no
success..
There is not much to configure with RAS on NT4.0 TCP/IP protocal with
all
network access enabled.. Am I missing something.. Has anyone done
this..
As always any insite would be apriciated..
