My DC is a member of a Forest named sa.web.net, shouldn't it have it's own folder entitled c:\winnt\sysvol\sysvol\atlmixxxxx.sa.web.net? Or do all scripts from all dc's in the forest get placed here? Please say it aint so...

We keep ours in C:\Winnt\SYSVOL\sysvol\<ourdomain.com>\scripts\ This is the NETLOGON share on W2K servers. Replicates fine. As far as I know, it works the same way on Win2k as it did on NT. We're still using the old method on Win2k and it appears to work fine. -----Original Message----- From: Cummings, Marvin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, December 21, 2001 8:02 AM To: Active Directory Admin Issues Subject: RE: Logon Scripts??? If I create this folder on my W2K domain controller, can I then add the login scripts from my NT 4.0 domain to this folder, and have everything replicate fine, or will there be some fine tuning I'll need to do afterwards? -----Original Message----- From: Sterner, Gregg [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, December 21, 2001 8:55 AM To: Active Directory Admin Issues Subject: RE: Logon Scripts??? You can used one of two methods: 1. Create the Repl\import\scripts folders under \system32 as they were in NT 2. Netlogon is a Share on the AD controller, not a folder -----Original Message----- From: Cummings, Marvin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, December 21, 2001 6:58 AM To: Active Directory Admin Issues Subject: FW: Logon Scripts??? > Now I know I'm not crazy.
