You really have some question there somewhere, but I can't seem to figure
out what the question is.

It sounds like this mail packages has installed a POP3 server, that's
failing.  Have  you tried the product docs?

Where did IIS come from?


Have you tried to look at other products?  I'd look at E-Smith
www.e-smith.org, I run it at home, really good, easy on the hardware budget
too.
