I made the incredible blunder of deleting the partition table of a removable disk during Win2K Pro installation. Of course, there are files there that I want to retrieve. Using the trial version of disk commander, I can tell that the directory structure is still intact, but I don't want to spend the $$ for the complete version. Does anyone know of a method that will allow me to browse the directory structure and manually retrieve these files? This particular disk has not been reformatted or written to since I hammered it and it was originally formatted as a standard FAT disk.
