Right I understand that but for some reason after they are authenticated
their account just starts randomly locking out.

If the users provide the wrong password too many times when trying to
log
in, then the accounts may be locked out depending how high you have your
lockout threshold set, and how many times they typed the wrong password.

Could be a few things. Are these accounts tied to services running on
any
servers? If so they may be passing the wrong credentials. Then if you
have
an account lockout policy, these accounts will be locked out.
