Windows 2000 Resource Kit is where mine runs from. It is called Robust File
Copy Utility in the resource kit.

Nope, I use it all the time. Robocopy does it all. Great utility, and it is
a fast copy. Plus if you are trying to copy something, and it finds that you
don't have permissions, it won't crap out like the windows explorer and quit
copying all together, it will wait until you set the proper permissions and
continue trying to copy the file/folder every 30 seconds. Windows explorer
says you don't have permissions, then leaves you hanging with no idea where
the copy left off.

I didnt think robocopy copied permissions, only inherited what was specified
on the target folder - no?

I can't remember where, but I remember hearing something about a utility
that will move folders from one server to another while maintaining the
permissions. Am I fabricating a memory or does this actually exist?
