Problem, just beginning to use the features of the Active Directory (AD) and when going to Start-Find-People, searching the active directory it tells me that "The Specified directory service could not be reached. The service may be temporarily unavailable or the server name may be incorrect."
MS Article states this can be a problem when using proxy server to connect to the Internet, but we aren't using a proxy server nor do we configure for proxy settings. I have a 2k and 98 machine that it does work on whereas the other 98 2k machines it does not work on, and I've installed the client extensions. Any thoughts?
