I do believe it's LinuxConfig to do what you are looking for. Look at one of the bin directory. I do believe it's sbin. Not quite as clean in the way it orginize things.
There are way too many books out there to name. -----Original Message----- From: Minuni, Joe [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2002 11:09 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: (OT) Linux for 2000 folks Sorry if this doesn't belong here: I'm looking for a book on Linux, written for the NT/2000 systems engineer. Maybe a cross reference doesn't exist? For example, in NT, a IPCONFIG /ALL will give me the network settings - how do I see it in Linux? I was told to check out Linux at work and I want to set-up a (cheap!) home system to dial/surf the internet. Thanks. ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
