easy as pie.. Books are good, but I think that you would benifet
from actual human interaction. Hmm, maybe you should check out a
lug(linux users group) meeting in your area, they seem to be
sprinning up all over now a days.. Find someone there who has NT/2k
experience, won't be that hard, most ppl can't avoid MS products on
the job. Just avoid the seleot 7337 types, they r no help. Find the
right person and start to ask em questions, 'ipconfig' = ? oh shit u
mean 'ifconfig' ahhhh... Most LUGs r very helpful and some even have
'install fests' where u can bring in an old 486 piece o sh** and have
ppl help u install linux and resurect those 44mhz dx2s... Not to
mention all of the fun projects and a litte MS humor.. hehe, K I
will stop now at the risk of sounding uber GEEK...
Good luck

Sorry if this doesn't belong here:
I'm looking for a book on Linux, written for the NT/2000 systems
engineer.
Maybe a cross reference doesn't exist? For example, in NT, a IPCONFIG
/ALL
will give me the network settings - how do I see it in Linux?
I was told to check out Linux at work and I want to set-up a (cheap!)
home
system to dial/surf the internet.
Thanks.
