First Run dcpromo to demote the server. Second wait until replication has
occurred to all servers and then delete the account.

Subject: Windows 2000 Domain Controller removal

How do you complete remove a domain controller from an Windows 2000
Native domain? What MMC do you use?

Using Active Directory users and computer gives an error and won't let
you remove the server from the "Domain Controllers" container.
